I contacted SEMAC in 1976 and soon after became its President.Building a quality service driven company has been the cornerstone of my success at SEMAC.Assembling a team of some the finest Professionals in the electrical construction field has led to greater successes.The increased volume in gross annual sales from $200 thousand, to over $40 million is a true testament to building a quality service driven company.


Craig Palmer- Executive Vice President

I have been with SEMAC for nearly ten years and have thrived in the professional, progressive environment. Having worked in all facets of the electrical construction field for over twenty five years, I offer a wealth of experience to Connecticut’s pre-eminent electrical contractor and strive to keep SEMAC in this position.


Tom Scanlon- Vice President/Project Manager

I started my career at SEMAC in 1971 as an electrical apprentice. In 1976 I obtained My Connecticut E-1 contractors license, and since then I have obtained Electrical license's in Massachusetts, and Florida. I attended ABC's electrical project management course at Purdue University and have been managing Large electrical construction projects for over 20 years. I am proud to be part of the team responsible for turning SEMAC Electric into one Connecticut's Premiere Electrical Contractors.


John Blakemore- Project Manager

I have 30 years of experience in both Industrial and Commerical electrical construction as a Journeyman Electrican, Estimator and Project Manager. I owned and operated an Electrical Contracting business in Virginia for 14 yrs. Before moving to Connecticut, I was the Division Manager for a major Electrical Contractor on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.


Jim Chouinard- Project Manager

I started in the trade in 1980 and have over 18 years of experience in the field. I've worked for small and large contractors and I offer a well rounded level of experience in the industry. I earned my E1 license in 1992 and have been project managing since, with a small stint at running my own business. I look forward to the opportunity of helping Semac Electric, stay at the top as one of the preferred electrical contractors in Connecticut.


Adam Meyers- Project Manager

I started in the Electrical Industry after finishing college in 1990. While working in the field as Apprentice, lead man and then Foreman I achieved my E1 license. Logically my next step was Project Manager. Currently I manage mid-size to large projects in Fairfield County and work with some of the largest General Contractors in the state.


Diana Kemper- C.A.D.& Computer Technician

I am going on my third year at SEMAC Electric. When I was hired I was asked if I could think in 3D and I quickly found out why. Coordination of the trades incorporates my mechanical and DDC background as well as my Architectural Drafting and Civil Engineering training. I also handle the submittal and release process for large fixture packages. I enjoy the challenges that working with an aggressive and professional company bring and the opportunity to work with the different trades and fellow draftspersons.


Catrina Markham- Purchasing

I’ve been with Semac since 2000, coming from a retail background as an Office Manager. Starting out I didn’t know a thing about the electrical construction field or purchasing but with the help of the Project Managers, Foremen and our suppliers I’ve greatly increased my knowledge. It seems that not only is there always something new to learn but there’s a variety of different projects on the horizon.


Matt Sheridan - Service Manager

I started my electrical career 16 years ago by enlisting in the United States Air Force as an Electrical System Specialist. I have worked all over the world on everything from high voltage distribution as a lineman, to industrial, commercial and residential construction and maintenance, as well as fire alarm security and access control system installation. As the Service Manage for Semac, I have assembled an exceptional group of service professionals that focus on customer service, respect and teamwork. I look forward to taking care of your electrical needs.
